The Dental Assistant Training School (DATS) is owned and operated by Dr. Ned D. Lunt
Dr. Lunt has been the DATS instructor for over 25 years. He graduated from the San Antonio Dental School in 1979 where he also taught as an associate professor after graduating. He has been in private practice ever since. The goal of this school is to graduate a Dental Assistant that has passed all certifications and exams required by the state of Texas, and with the knowledge and experience that will allow them to become an asset to the Dental Profession.
DATS is certified and licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission.
We accept a limited number of students to allow individual and personal instruction.
This school is close to a full time dental practice so you have the opportunity to have actual hands on experience and training with patients.
